Communication Workshops

Good communication skill is a core skill needed in the corporate environment, something that is
expected from almost everyone in an organisation. Whether you are an executive, senior manager,
or support staff, you should be able to express yourself and communicate well with your colleagues.
Effective communication skills and increased productivity go hand in hand. When businesses, teams
or individuals miss or fail to meet their targets, it is often due to poor communication about projects,
goals, milestones, and deadlines. Communication training and facilitation can assist organisations to
avoid these pitfalls.

Behaviour-based feedback

*This workshop can be a stand-alone or form part of a leadership series for communication excellence.

Also, according to research from Gallup, only 28 percent of people receive feedback a few times a
year, while 19 percent say they receive it once a year or less. Part of the problem is that
performance conversations can be stressful. When people get defensive, and the mood turns sour,
workplace relationships can be damaged. And when you factor in a busy working environment, it’s
easy to see why some managers might put off giving feedback until formal performance reviews.
But delaying giving feedback can lead to a disconnect between it and the behavior or action it
describes.

Behavior-based feedback allows you to serve as a messenger or reporter who simply relays
information, instead of an accuser or judge who must issue an indictment about someone
